Acting on Experience

After retiring from the NYPD after 20 years, I was finally able to chase my true dream;  Acting. I started as many do, doing background work. But that only made me more hungry for some bigger roles. So I began taking classes, auditioning as often as possible, quickly becoming known as a dependable and competent character actor, portraying Fathers, Detectives, Judges and Neighbors. It's odd to be "middle aged" and just starting a career, but I'm loving the process and still dreaming the dream.
